Description of the gospel presentation tool called the "Story of Our Life with God."
The "Story of Our Life with God" provides vivid, colorful images that are used by a witness for Christ to aid in the presentation of the gospel. The witness follows a script for each of the eight pages of the "Story of Our Life with God."
The story of our life with God begins in the Garden of Eden, showing God’s personal, loving fellowship with Adam and Eve. The second page portrays Adam and Eve being banished from the Garden because of the sin of disobedience to God. The third page presents the dilemma of our loving God being unable to fellowship with mankind because of our sin. In the fourth page, we tell of how Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin. Next we see the risen savior, coming forth from the tomb alive again. Using the sixth picture, the witness tells of Jesus Christ as the only way to be reconciled to God. Then, the witness uses the seventh image to tell of the choice each of us must make of either trusting Christ’s sacrificial death and resurrection and receiving salvation or turning our back on Jesus and rejecting God’s gift of saving grace. The eighth image is shown to those who have received Christ as savior and have the power of the Holy Spirit indwelling them. On this page we see examples of the qualities of life the Holy Spirit provides.
